The Kickboxing Academy opened its doors in 1996 by head coach and founder, Pete Ward.

With over 36 years of training experience and 28 years of coaching under his belt, Pete and his team have helped 100's of members achieve so many great things from building self confidence to winning World titles.

TKBA has earned many awards and accolades, working along side local schools & authorities to provide fantastic training and opportunities and beyond.

 Excellent place, both my kids really enjoy the sessions as they are fun and exciting and varied in what they do, they are getting more confident and skilled. There is a real community and wellbeing focus which radiates through the lessons, any sparring sessions always starts with a talk about safe sparring and they ensure that each child is comfortable. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try something new, build confidence and essential skills
